Boil Water Rescind Notice

NOLANVILLE PLAZA MOBILE HOME PARK

On November 2, 2019 the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) required our public water system, Bell County WCID #3, to issue a Precautionary Boil Water Notice to inform our customers in Nolanville who live within the Nolanville Plaza Mobile Home Park, that due to an interruption in service, water from our system must be boiled prior to consumption. 

Our system has taken the necessary corrective actions to restore adequate pressure, disinfectant levels, and/or bacteriological quality testing. Returned lab results indicate that the water does not require boiling as of November 5, 2019, 2:45 P.M.If you have questions, contact BCWCID #3 at 254-698-6885.

Public Notice for Precautionary Boil Order

**This Precautionary Boil Order only affects customers living within the Plaza Mobile Home Park**.

NOVEMBER 01, 2019

Due to the repair of a water leak located within the Plaza Mobile Home Park located in Nolanville, the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) has required our water system, Bell County WCID #3, to notify customers that live within the Plaza Mobile Home Park of the need to boil their water prior to consumption. To ensure destruction of all harmful bacteria and other microbes, water for drinking, cooking, and making ice should be boiled and cooled prior to use. The water should be brought to a vigorous, rolling boil and then boiled for two minutes. In lieu of boiling, you may purchase bottled water or obtain water from some other suitable source.

When it is no longer necessary to boil the water, the water system officials will notify you that the water is safe for consumption. Instructions to discontinue boiling will be issued in the same manner as this notice.

On October 18, 2018 the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) required our public water system, Bell County WCID #3, to issue a Precautionary Boil Water Notice to inform our customers in Nolanville who live in Pecan Village Mobile Home Park that due to an interruption in service, water from our system must be boiled prior to consumption. Our system has taken the necessary corrective actions to restore adequate pressure, disinfectant levels, and/or bacteriological quality testing. Returned lab results indicate that the water does not require boiling as of October 20, 2018, 6:00 P.M.

PECAN VILLAGE MHP UPDATE 10-18-2018, 1:43 p.m..: Crews have completed repair work.  Water has been fully restored.  Due to water interruption, water must be boil prior to consumption.  Water officials will notify you when boil order has been lifted. Thank you

PECAN VILLAGE MHP UPDATE 10-18-2018, 11:54 a.m.: Crews continue to work on site and are installing the new valve.  Work will continue for approximately another two hours.  Thank you for your cooperation.

PECAN VILLAGE MHP UPDATE 10-17-2018, 3:30p.m.: Crews located the leak, crews will start repairs on 18 October at 8:00 am with an ESTIMATED time of completion by noon. Again, please use minimum water until water is fully restored, only using what is essential & necessary. Thank you for your cooperation.

PECAN VILLAGE MHP UPDATE 10-17-2018, 2:30p.m.: Crews are currently in the process of providing minimum water services to the MHP as they continue to search for the water leak. WCID3 crews are asking that customers be very conservative with their water usage, only using what is essential & necessary until the leak is located and repaired and services are fully restored. Thank you again for your patience as our crew works diligently to restore services.

PECAN VILLAGE MHP UPDATE 10-17-2018, 8:20 a.m.: WCID3 Crews are actively attempting to locate the leak in the Pecan Village MHP that is causing either low water pressure or interrupted water services in that area. The recent and current rains are making it even that more difficult to locate the leak. We appreciate you patience. Be assured that the crews at WCID3 are working diligently to restore services in that area.

October 16, 2018

Some customers who live in Nolanville are experiencing water service interruption or low pressure.  This is due to a pressure reducer valve problem.  Our crew has been working hard onsite, but do not have an estimate time of completion.  Thank you for your understanding.

Lawn Watering Schedule Implemented

In an effort to encourage Water Conservation, Bell County WCID #3 has implemented the following Lawn Watering Schedule:

Even # Addresses on Tuesdays, Thursdays, & Saturdays

Odd # Addresses on Wednesdays, Fridays, & Sundays

Please do all outside watering between the hours of 10 p.m. & 6 a.m. and as minimal as possible. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.

On August 3, 2018 the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) required our public water system, Bell County WCID #3, to issue a Precautionary Boil Water Notice to inform our customers who live within the City of Nolanville and the Bell County WCID3 Water District, that due to an interruption in service, water from our system must be boiled prior to consumption.

Our system has taken the necessary corrective actions to restore adequate pressure, disinfectant levels, and/or bacteriological quality testing. Returned lab results indicate that the water does not require boiling as of August 7, 2018 12:14 P.M.

48 HR PRECAUTIONARY WATER BOIL NOTICE

Due to an emergency water line repair, customers city wide are experiencing water service interruption or very low pressure. Crews are onsite and actively working to repair the line and restore water services.

Once water services are fully restored, a 48 hour Precautionary Boil Order will be issued for the affected areas.

The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) has required our water system, Bell County WCID #3, to notify customers that live within the affected area of the need to boil their water prior to consumption. To ensure destruction of all harmful bacteria and other microbes, water for drinking, cooking, and making ice should be boiled and cooled prior to use. The water should be brought to a vigorous, rolling boil and then boiled for two minutes. In lieu of boiling, you may purchase bottled water or obtain water from some other suitable source.

Due to an emergency water leak repair, customers city wide are experiencing very low water pressure. The fire hydrants have been opened in order to release pressure from the line so that the repair can be made. At this time, we do not have an estimate time of completion.

The District is currently in Stage 1 of its drought contingency plan.  

WCID #3 entered into Stage 1 of its Drought Contingency Plan today.

The District is requesting all residents serviced by Bell County WCID #3 to voluntarily conserve water until further notice by reducing excessive water usage to a minimum.
